Vegetarian Dog
| Poochie, the almost two year old toy poodle living at the foothills of Mt. Makiling is vegetarian. He eats pechay stalks, gumamela flowers (new bloom or withered), carrot shavings, and lettuce. He doesn’t eat dog food which becomes a headache because its very hard to prepare food compared to just getting it from out of the dog food bag.Until ASPIN came along. ASPIN is a local brand that is at par with other imported brands. Eating local has its advantages because of the environmental elements that the dog imbibes while it grows up. Just like people, its better to eat foods grown in the immediate environment because processing is less. The more food is processed, the less raw energy it has.
